The place has been here forever but they seem to have kept up with the times. I love the food from here it’s always fresh and what I feel is a good value for my money. However, I always call at least a week before to make my reservation especially if I want to eat there on a Friday or Saturday evening. They never have seemed to have a problem with getting me in but when I arrive they are usually pretty busy so I do recommend that you make a reservation for those nights. Food is always good and many times I have had the special of the day and a dessert. Of course I can’t forget the rolls omg the rolls there is something special about the rolls they are these teacup poppyseed rolls and so delicious I eat like three for dinner and take a couple of dozen home for the freezer to enjoy until the next time I can get here. The wait staff is so nice helpful and professional every time! The place is super clean and the one thing that I always check is the bathroom and their is outstanding in cleaning and the water turns warm when washing hands and it’s always clean- so nice- you just don’t understand how much that makes it better for women in general. It’s like the cherry on top of the ice cream sundae. I will always come back here and recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice evening out.

Go for the atmosphere and the experience of seeing a train pass by just feet outside the panoramic rear window, assuming your timing is right, but temper expectations on the cuisine. Contrary to expectations in our experience the seafood was lacking, with the broiled fish coming out dry, and the seafood tower not as fresh as it should be given the price, but the crispy duck, on the other hand, was excellent. The chocolate layer cake was a nice surprise as well, moist throughout despite being a slice shareable by three. Parking in the area can get a bit tricky during peak times, but there’s a valet which helps a lot. The decor is lovely, if a bit traditional, and the staff was courteous and attentive. Nice for special occasions, but on the expensive side for sure.

The food here is like something out of a fairytale! It looks and taste delicious! I had Brian as a server and he was amazing! Also Sam helped us out a big time as well with our valet parking! Very much recommend this place!

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The seafood dishes in particular were standout. The view was stunning, peaceful, and made the whole evening feel extra special. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel truly celebrated. Such a memorable experience, we’ll definitely be back!

This was a nice place and I enjoyed it a lot. I tried something new which wasn't my normal food but my boyfriend took a bit and loved it. He also loved his food and his salmon tasted amazing. I couldn't get enough of the rolls and enjoyed the very of the train tracks as well as the occasion train passing by to make a perfect atmosphere for a get together with old friends and the perfect place to talk with new friends. I would love to go back and see it in the evening.

We go for our anniversary every year, we love the history of the Gandy Dancer and the atmosphere. It's always a joy when the train goes by. The food is hit or miss in our opinion for the price point, some main dishes I've just expected more and definitely have had better for less money. We go for the whole experience though. Our service this past go around was the best we've ever experienced there, I believe our waitresses name was Bea. Extremely knowledgeable and excellent at her job.
